This guide describes the creation and configuration of the Instructional Text including Welcome Content and Terms and Conditions.
- Log in to your Social Pinpoint Admin site
- Follow the guide below to configure the various settings and options.
- Select the Settings menu to the left (blue Cog icon if collapsed) then select Welcome & Terms

Select the project you would like to edit or create a new one.

Welcome: Content to be displayed on the welcome/ info screen when users first visit the site or press the information button. This should contain a brief project overview and instructions on how you want users to give their feedback. Use the text editor toolbar to format content as required. When inserting images re-size as required, width limitations apply.
The Text Edit toolbar is not supported in old browsers - ensure you are using IE9 or above, current versions of Chrome, Firefox or Safari.

Welcome Instructions Advanced Settings
Welcome Action Button: you can configure the text of the action button on the Welcome screen or just leave it as 'Get Started Now'.
Terms & Conditions
Terms: Terms and Conditions that users must accept prior to posting a comment or submitting a survey.
Use the text editor toolbar to format content as required. When inserting images re-size as required, width limitations apply.
If you leave this empty, no terms and condition link will be displayed and users are free to add comments without accepting

Terms and Conditions can be viewed by dragging and dropping a comment marker onto the map and clicking the link Terms and Conditions.
